Overview
The firm of Sociedade de Automoveis Luminari was set-up in 1964 in Sao Paula, Brazil, by an Italian, Gennaro Malzoni. The company built polyester-bodied sports cars with front wheel drive using three-cylinder two-stroke DKW engines under licence. When Volkswagen took over the DKW factory, Malzoni switched to basing his car in the VW Karmann Ghia.
