Overview

Various Italian car body companies have had a go at marketing their own car. This equally applies to companies such as Ghia, Zagato and Vignale. Alfredo Vignale (1913-1969) and a car body works in the Italian village of Grugliasco, which is a stone's throw from Bertone's home town of Turin. Vignale built superb cars for Maserati, Ferrari, Lancia and Fiat often designed by his friend Giovanni Michelotti.
