Alexis
Overview
Alexis racing cars were built on a very small scale for Birmingham building contractor Alexis Francis. In the early 1950s he campaigned various trial cars extensively and in 1959 he met Australian Bill Harris and decided to build a Formula Junior racing car. The next five years they set their sights on running a two car team on a serious basis.
