Chiltern
Overview
This was a medium-sized tourer powered by a 1.8 litre 4-cylinder Dorman Kno engine. The company name hints at links with Vulcan and it is believed that Vulcan chassis was delivered to Dunstable to be fitted with different radiators and locally-made bodywork. The similarity of mounting gearbox and torque tube also indicated that the Chiltern was Vulcan based. Possibly as many as 100 were made.
