Kendall

1912 - 1913
The Kendall was one of many cyclecars which made their appearance at the Olympia Show in 1912. They made two models, a typical belt-driven cyclecar powered by an 8hp air-cooled V-twin J.A.P. or 7/9hp Peugeot engine, and a more car-like model which used the same J.A.P. engine and 2-speed epicyclic gearbox but with underslung worm final drive, the latter an unusual sophistication on a cyclecar. The frame was made of ash and the price complete with hood, windscreen and lamps was a not unreasonable £89 - £95 for the belt-drive model and £130 for the worm drive, but the make did not last long.
