Trident
Overview
Originally intended to be a new TVR design the Trident Clipper appeared in 1967 and was produced independently by a TVR dealer (from factory glass fibre moulds) after financial problems had taken hold of TVR itself.
The Clipper was also joined by two other Trident models, the Venturer and Tycoon. The Venturer and Tycoon continued in limited production until 1974 and their demise was followed in 1976 by the last Clipper.
