Triumph
Overview

Triumph started producing cars in 1923 having previously produced motorcycles. The car and motorcycle sides of the company were seperated in 1936 with the car company going bankrupt in 1939. In 1945, Triumph was purchased by Standard and went onto produce many fine cars throughout the 50s and 60s. The Triumph name was dropped in 1984 and despite the occasional rumour has never returned.
