La Rapide
Overview
1920
Despite its French-sounding name, the La Rapide was apparently an all British car. It was powered by an 8hp air-cooled J.A.P. engine bolted to outriggers on the offside of the frame. This drove by chain to a 3-speed Sturmey-Archer gearbox, and thence by belt to one rear wheel.
