Vespa
Overview
Perhaps best known for its Scooter models Vespa also tried its hand at car manufacture, albeit very briefly. The Vespa 400 was a microcar design and was actually built in France by ACMA, although the bodies were supplied by Facel. Despite not being that well known in the UK the Vespa 400 was built in large numbers (28,000) for the European market until 1961.
