Gitane
Overview
Like so many kit/sports cars of the 1960's the Gitane was only in production for a short period (12 months in this case). Produced by G.F. Plant of West Bromwich the Gitane used Mini running gear in a light GT body.
Later examples of Gitane were planned to using tuned Italian engines, sadly the project was cancelled before this could reach fruition.
