All-British
Overview
All-British Car Co., Bridgeton, Glasgow
This company was founded by George Johnston, formerly a partner in Arrol-Johnston. He built a complex 8-cylinder engine on the same opposed-piston lines as the early Arrol-Johnson unit, and installed it in a car exhibited at the 1907 Agricultural Hall Show. He announced plans to make 75 cars per year, but the Show car may have been the only All-British, though Johnston also built a bus with a 4-cylinger engine on similar lines, which ran in London for a short time.
