The Cisitalia company was founded in 1946 by Racing driver Piero Dusio and launched its sporting 202 model in 1948. These beautiful coupes used tuned Fiat engines and other mechanical items taken from contemporary Fiat models. The Cisitalia 202 bodies were hand made by a variety of Italian coachbuilders including Pinin Farina and Vignale.

Cisitalia moved its production to Argentina in 1949 and continued to produce cars until 1965.
