Celer
Overview
1904
When this car was discovered in Exeter in the early 1960s it was found to have a plate on the engine that is inscribed: "The Celer Motor Car Co., Nottingham, Nº 101". No information was found about this firm at the time, nor has been subsequently, and the car remains something of a mystery. It has a two-cylinder engine with automatic inlet valves, a three-speed gearbox, shaft-drive, and is assumed to be the sole prototype.
