1920 - 1924
Thompson Brothers were well known boiler makers with a history dating back to 1810. The company made pressed steel chassis for several car maufacturers, and after World War I decided to enter the car market. The T.B. was a well-made 3-wheeler powered by a 961cc V-twin JAP engine although some Nlackburne of MAG engines were also used, with a 2- or 3-speed gearbox made in-house and shaft-drive to the single rear wheel. It had a Bugatti-shaped radiator, and was offered with either disc or wire wheels. The bodies were a 2-seater tourer with one door, or a hipbath-like sports model with no doors. About 500 were made.
