Subaru
Overview
Subaru has become famous for its four-wheel drive cars. The company forms part of the enormous Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd concern but builds mainly more compact cars. Subaru started its car experience with small cars.
With Subaru as with everyone else, cars grew in size. In 1966, Subaru cars changed to front wheel drive and to four-wheel drive in 1974. Since then the company has remained loyal to four-wheel drive.
