Wolseley-Siddeley

Overview

Following Herbert Austin's departure from Wolseley, the company focused on developing a range of highly successful, vertical-engined motor cars of both four and six-cylinder configurations. Col. J.D. Siddeley had joined the Wolseley board at around this time and the cars became known as Wolseley-Siddeleys, although they were commonly referred to by the abbreviated name of Siddeley.
