Overview

For many years Lincoln has been battling against its arch General Motors rival, Cadillac. Lincoln, like Cadillac, has always been viewed as the top American car, the choice of Presidents and Millionaires. Ford brought Lincoln back in 1922, an excellent way for Ford to begin its journey towards offering more than just mass-market cars.

Landmark models from Lincoln have included the elegant V12 Zephyr of 1936 and the sumptuous Continental line of two and four door cars. Today the company is part of the Ford Premium Automotive Group along with Jaguar, Land Rover, Volvo and Aston Martin and continues to develop its range of cars and luxury 4x4 models.
