Scootacar
Overview
Another strange micro-car to emerge from Leeds (see separate entry for Rodley) was the Scootacar. The Scootacar came from the same design team as the unsuccessful Rodley, however this time over 1,000 examples would be built thanks to its fashionable design layout (i.e. Bubble Car). Scootacar production started in 1957 and lasted until 1965.
