A member of the board of Fabrica de Automotores utilitarios Saicf visited West Germnay in 1958 and contacted Elektromaschinenbau Fulda GmbH, makers of the Fuldamobil microcar. A licence was granted for Fuldamobil production in Argentina, under the Bambi name.
Saloon and pick-up versions of the Bambi powered by Sachs 200cc 10.2bhp engines were produced.
It was estimated that first year production would be 800 units. In fact only 480 vehicles were produced.
