Overview

The Bolsover steam car was said to be the result of eleven years experience in adapting steam to the propulsion of automobiles. It was a 2-seater with 3-cylinder poppet valve engine under the bonnet and a semi-flash boiler under the seat. A 4-cylinder engine was mentioned in advertising. It had shaft drive direct from the crank shaft to the rear axle. Paraffin fuel was used and the frame was of armoured ash wood.
