Overview

1899

This company made stationary engines running on heavy oil, and made a prototype car with a rear-mounted 3hp 2-cylinder engine, powered by Tea Rose lamp oil.  A 3-speed gearbox gave 4, 6 and 12mph and final drive by chain.  As proof of ease of driving, the brochure said 'It has been driven by a lad aged 15 years.'
