I bought this car back in 1992. It have been stored in a garage for over 15yrs as the first owner has passed away.
My marine engineer brother restored it in 2009 . I am desparatly looking for 4 new tyres as I can't find this size anymore in Srilanka.
I live in France, but every time I go to Srilanka, I take it out for long drives and enjoy it.What is fantastic is the wind up windscreen , that lets in the breeze when it's hot & humid.
I also had a Auto union DKW 1000 previously, but sadly sold it few years ago.
Anybody traveling to Srilanka from the UK who have an interest in these cars are welcome for a drive.
