My father bought the car around 1985 and had it resprayed around 87 ,at that time the headlining was done and some new brake shoes fitted,the wheels were bead blasted and painted .Very little was done with the car for the next fifteen years ,in fact it never was on the road.I took posession of the car at this time . I had the leather seats recovered over the next year or so to an exellent standard,and i also had the dash and associated components french polished .All of the chrome work has been re polished and new headlamp reflectors redone .Pork pie type tail lamps have been fitted with the front side lamps having been converted so indicators work all round.The Lanchester is now in exellent condition and ready for the road.I also have quite a comprehensive history file of the car .
