Externally little was changed to the Muntz cars but the wheelbase was twice extended by 31 1/2 in (80 mm) which would mainly be appreciated by back-seat passengers.
One of the final Muntz Jets was the convertible. It grew to become a spacious five-seater that was also available as a hardtop.
