XJ Project - Part 1. The club has previously carried out projects in conjunction with the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust. The first car we took on and sponsored the refurbishment of was the ex-Sir William Lyons XJ6 Series 1. This was followed by the ex-press E-type Series 3 fhc and now work has commenced on a new project. This is the ex-Sir William Lyons (and also used by Lord Stokes in BL days) Daimler Double Six Vanden Plas Series 2 saloon. |
