Datsun 280Z and Zx 1975-83
Overview

The first Z-cars appeared in 1970, the 240Z. An engine enlargement created the 260Z in 1974 and the 280Z came in 1975 with an engine now of 2754cc. Fuel injection was also introduced bringing more power. In addition a 2+2 was created. The 280ZX brought a more luxurious, softer riding Grand touring car with subtle differences to the body design. An automatic gearbox was introduced in 1979 and a turbo in 1981.
