Honda Road Test Book: Honda CRX 1983-87
Overview

The original Civic was introduced in 1973 and over the years gained a good reputation. A decade later the CRX was announced; strictly a two-seater with plenty of room. The 1.5-litre engine was packed neatly under the bonnet. The 1985 Si introduced Hondas new Programmed Fuel Injection system. In answer to European criticism of lack of power a 16v, 1600cc engine arrived here in 1986 giving 125bhp. Ride and handling were also improved. This is a book of contemporary road and comparison tests, specification and technical data, long term and owners reports, new model introductions and special conversions. Includes, Si, 1.5, 1.6, Coup, Spyder. 100 pages, 200 illus, SB.
