BMW Z3 & Z3M Limited Edition
Overview

BMW have rarely built roadsters. In 1936 the 328 and 1956 the 507 spring to mind. In 1986 the Z1 used 3-series mechanicals and sold in small numbers. This, however, paved the way for the Z3, also based on 3-series mechanicals. Competitors are the Mazda Miata and MGF for the Z3, and the Porsche Boxter for the beefed up M Roadster. This book is a compilation of road tests, model introductions, comparisons, reviews and specification data. Models covered are: 1.8-litre 4-cyl., 1.8-litre 4-cyl., 1.9-litre 4-cyl., 2.8-litre 6-cyl., M Roadster 3.2-litre 6-cyl. 96 pages, 250 illus. SB.
