Searching for articles and buying copies

Select from the Directories menu in the left hand navigation column - click Bibliography. Click the magazine articles tab.

When the articles search page appears you can enter text to search for by typing in the Articles containing box. You can further refine your search by selecting an article type from the drop down box and/or by selecting a magazine publication.

If the article was published in a magazine with whom Motorbase has an arrangement, there will be a Buy button with the article details and you will be able to purchase a photocopy.

How to order - a step-by-step guide

Find it

Select from the Shopping menu in the left hand navigation column - click Search the shop. Type a search word in the ’containing’ box. You can narrow your search by selecting a product type from the drop down list. Then click Search.

Select it

Click Buy to add it to your shopping basket. You will then be shown the up to date contents of your basket so that you can amend it, continue shopping or go to the checkout.
N.B. The shipping costs shown will be for delivery within the U.K. until you have either registered or signed in with your country after which they will be corrected where necessary.

Buy it

At your Shopping basket, click Checkout order.

• If you have already signed in - you’ll be taken to Checkout order.
• If you have never registered - you’ll be asked to register. It is important to enter your country so that the correct shipping costs will be calculated.
• If you have registered but not signed in - you’ll be asked to sign in.

Then you’ll be asked to checkout the order details and then be taken to the Payments screen. There you may choose a payment option and follow the instructions.

Shipping

Shipping costs are added to product costs and are for delivery within the UK. Once you have registered and entered your country for delivery, the correct shipping costs will be shown.

Get it

We will acknowledge your order by email within a few hours or as soon as we have checked availability with our warehouse. We will ship by the most appropriate method. Books are generally sent by post (Royal Mail). If we post to a destination outside the UK we will normally request a signature on delivery.
