BMW 1600 Collection No. 1 1966-81
Our price: £8.43
At the 1966 Geneva Motor Show a small new BMW was shown called the 1600. An addition to the four-door saloon this was the two-door version. A larger version called the 2002 came in 1968. These ran side by side until the early 70s when the 1600 was dropped because the 2002 was the car everyone wanted. In 1974, because of economic changes, a cheaper 1600, the 1602, was launched. This is a collection of contemporary road tests, technical and specification data, model and comparison articles and owners’ reports. Models covered are: 1600 2-door saloon, 1600 Coupe, 1600Ti, 1602, 1602 Special, 1602L. 70 pages, 160 illus. SB.
