The Lotus Book - Type 1 to Type 72
Our price: £26.98
Much has been written over the years about the marque Lotus and deservedly so, for there us little doubt that Colin Chapman was the outstanding automotive designer of his day.
The wide range of Lotus cars covered in this book illustrates that claim perfectly, from the MK1 with 30 or so horse-power to some of the later models with something approaching 1,000 HP And from trials cars through front and mid engined road-going coupes to World Championship and Indy winners, as well as most of the other motor racing Formulae. It is believed that this is the first time they have all been covered in the same volume.
To sum up, a worthy contribution to the documentation of Lotus history and including a collection of important photographs from a variety of sources, plus F1 racing records and specifications for each model.
Foreward by Len Terry. Full colour cover, 98 b/w photographs
