MGC & MGB GT V8 Limited Edition
Our price: £10.32
After much speculation about BMCs new big-engined car the MGC was a disappointment. Looking very much like the current MGB, albeit with a bulge in the bonnet, sales took a while to take off. Under the skin there were many innovations, not least the good six-cylinder engine and it came in both open and GT forms. In 1973 the Rover V8 engine was slotted into a BGT, the only sign being a discreet V8 badge. Unfortunately it was a good engine in an out of date car. However, there is now a good following for this car. This is a book of contemporary road and comparison tests, new model introductions, specification and technical data and history. 92 pages, 250 illus. Soft Bound.
