Free Motoring History videos!

Fri 5 Oct 2007

Universal Motoring History is a free, weekly, online multimedia history of the motor car. Located at www.motoring-history.com   the weekly story features a rarely seen film and a selection of evocative photographs covering a specific aspect of motoring history and will be made available every Monday on an ongoing basis.

The story as we went to press was the Monte Carlo Rally in the 1960s, including some great footage of all manner of cars, including this Steyr-Puch, belting round the Alps and Monte Carlo.

The rest of the website contains a wealth of other useful motoring history reference material from historic photographs to government information posters to 100+ years of automobile advertising.

Of course, nothing's free without a catch, and the catch is that the site hopes you will be enthused enough to purchase and download some of its wealth of other movies, books, posters, signs, prints and pictures.
