DayresQ offers short-term cover

The insurance world is becoming more flexible as costs rise and the expense and complication of insuring a car for a year is all too much when you're not planning to use it that much, or you're borrowing it or lending it for the short term or need a friend to drive it.

Dayinsure.com has sold over 4000 short-term policies each month since its launch in mid 2005 - now the company has joined forces with Mondial UK to offer dayresQ, short-term cover with 24/7 roadside assistance and an enhanced version with European cover.

"This is a definite first for Mondial, offering products direct to the consumer market," confirmed Simon Cook, Automotive Director at Mondial UK.  "Typically many consumers turn to one or two brands when looking for roadside assistance when it doesn't come as part of their new car package.  The launch of dayresQ will add a new level of competition to this sector which we believe will be very good news for motorists."

"Going forward, we are planning to launch another roadside assistance product, 'roadresQ' which will be a very competitively priced monthly product offered with monthly insurance policies."

Steve Coppock, Managing Director of Day Insure, says, "Mondial were the right choice for this partnership and we are looking forward to providing assistance as part of our product portfolio.  Mondial provide assistance to 7 out of the top 8 warranty packages and we are sure they will deliver the same level of excellence to new customers of Day Insure."
