Mercedes-Benz 350 SLC/450SLC Coupe

I bought this car from a fastidious owner just over 4 years ago and it is excellent condition, having covered just over 170,000Kms from new (1976)

Very little has been needed in the way of replacements with the exception of vanity upgrades to preserve a near perfect appearance.

Replaced only the fuel pump and accumulator, the only actual breakdown I've had. Also replaced the rear right driveshaft to replace one which was getting noisy.

Visited the Mercedes Classic Centre in Irvine, California, USA 2 yrs. ago, where I purchased a new moulding for the right front fender.  This is a must see for any enthusiastic Merc. owner visiting the L.A. area.

These cars will purr like new forever if they are well looked after and seem to be truly bullet proof compared with many of the newer models.

They are much rarer than the more common SL's and command many admiring looks and comments from interested onlookers.

Since my boyhood days this was always my dream car - at 54 I feel like a very lucky "young" man.
