This sport was garaged for 16 years. All in bits. But the paint work had been done. Me and my son. finish the job. We have rebuild the engine. As it was in bits. sitting in the last owners bedroom.Took about 6 weeks to finish car. In are spare time.This is the second sports. we have restored. over the last few years. you can see videos on you tube. under fiat 127 sports.We have a third sports which should be finished in the spring.We sold one sport to gavin at the fiat club. the y reg, we reshell the car and it has a 5 speed gearbox which is good for motorways.nice to see it at shows  across the uk. But these 4 speeds. good fun around towns. amd country roads. but motorway driving engine revs to high. but on them country road. these cars move. To me these are and was the first hot hatch. pocket rockets. And we keep with these xr2.and gti. these 1050cc have more power. And again a 1600 engine. I have race gti, xr2, In my young days. This little 1050 beat them.on open motorways the sports will do 110 . And can scream in  each gear. 10,000 rev. The fun dropping that gear hearing the twin 40s. rev up just little a ferrari.If you fix a four barrel manifold boy these sound like music. These 127 sports numbers in the uk could only be 20 . or less. the fiat club try to do a count. and was a lot less then 20.I am always looking for projects so drop me a line. and we could save a few more 127 sports.
