Launched in 1971 by John Britten Garages Ltd of Arkley, Hertfordshire, the Arkley SS was essentially a rebodied Austin Healey Sprite/MG Midget. Once production of the Arkley SS finished in 1985 the Arkley name disappeared once and for all.
