Lancia added exciting, new versions of its Beta in 1973, one year after the launch of the saloon, the Beta Coupe and Spider. Using shortened versions (92.5 inch instead of 100.0 inch) of the standard Beta the Coupe and Spider offered their own unique sports styling.
The Coupe came with a huge range of engine options at first which included 1.3, 1.4, 1.6 and 2.0 litre units. Toward the end of production (in 1984) the 2.0 litre engine became standard with the option of a 135bhp supercharged version, the Volumex.
