Chrysler (Australia) Valiant Charger
Overview
| Produced: |
1971-? |
|---|---|
| Types: |
Coupe, 2 doors, 5 seats
|
There were a number of models, of which 770 was one. The E38, E48 and E49 with triple Weber carburettors were the world's most powerful six cylinder cars in 1971-4.
The most important point is that they were entirely designed and manufactured in Australia. Apart from badges, they were not derivative of any American car (including Dodge Charger), apart from the early 1960s Valiant which evolved independently in Australia.
