Audi TT Coupe

Overview

Produced: 1999-?
Types: Coupe, 2 doors, 2+2 seats

After first showing the TT as a "concept car" Audi quickly introduced its new sports model, in 1999, to an eager public with a massive waiting list. Available at first only as a four wheel drive ("Quattro") coupe, with either 180bhp or 225bhp, the TT was quickly joined by a pretty Roaster version, again with the same choice of engines and four wheel drive.

Sadly the initial excitement and long delivery times were marred by the discovery of nasty handling characteristics at high speed. Audi quickly offered to re-call effected cars and many have been modified to improve high-speed stability. This aside, the TT continues to be highly sought-after by people looking for a fun coupe style car.
