The SM Roadster was almost identical externally to its predeccessor. The most obvious difference was that the wheels which were now closed.
The SM Roadster had a 1,497 cc four-cylinder engine that initially gave 49 bhp but this was increased in 1952 to 59 bhp at 4,800 rpm.
