Wolseley 25 Series III

Overview
Produced: 1938-1948, 75 produced.
Types: Limousine

The Wolseley 25 was the largest member of the Wolseley range for many years, being produced from 1938 until 1948. The 28 offered an alternative to Armstrong Siddley, Rover, Austin and Humber buyers looking for a large saloon/limousine type car. The 25 was built in very small numbers and must be almost extinct nowadays.

Despite its traditional, almost elderly appearance the 25 (so called due to its 25hp) produced nearly 110bhp thanks to its twin SU carburettors giving the car fair performance. The 25's body was a formal limousine type built on a 141" wheelbase separate chassis.
