As part of the revised and face-lifted Farina range the new 16/60 entered production in 1961. The 16/60 shared the much improved 1622cc B-Series powerplant with the Austin and Morris, an automatic transmission was also made available as an option.

The 16/60 also shared the improved styling and lengthen wheelbase with the other models, the track was also widened to improve stability and roadholding. The 16/60 looked graceful and dignified, especially when ordered with two-tone paintwork to complement its leather trimmed interior. The Wolseley 16/60 remained in production until 1971, when it was discontinued.
