Singer Nine Roadster 4AB/4AC

Overview
Produced: 1950-1951, 1001 produced.
Types: Convertible,2 doors,4 seats

Throughout 1950-51 Singer continued to update and improve its pre-war designed, Nine Roadster model. The 1950 4AB still featured the old Singer 1074cc engine but benefited from having new road wheels, revised suspension and hydro-mechanical brakes. Visually the Nine now had a shorter radiator grille and different front wings.

In 1951 the Nine Roadster was improved further still and re-designated the 4AC. The 4AC now had a larger 1194cc version of the same overhead cam Singer engine and was only built in very small numbers before the arrival of the 4AD version in 1951.
