Singer Roadster 4AD

Overview
Produced: 1951-1955, 3440 produced.
Types: Convertible,2 doors,4 seats

The final incarnation of the popular Singer Nine sports model appeared in 1951, the Roadster 4AD. The 4AD used a new 1497cc, overhead cam engine, borrowed from the SM1500 saloon, which developed a respectable 58bhp thanks to its twin-carbs.

The Singer Roadster model remained a popular car for export markets (rivalling the MG T-Series) where its traditional styling was appreciated and continued in production until 1955.
