The last Hawk model made its debut in 1964, the Hawk IV. The new Hawk featured the triangular rear 1/4 light windows found on the Super Snipe and Imperial models, despite these changes the Hawk still retained the single headlamp nose. Other changes to the Hawk included a more curved windscreen and a revised suspension layout.
Saloon, limousine, and estate versions of the Hawk continued to be offered and the model remained popular. Mechanically the Hawk continued to use the 2267cc four cylinder engine and column change manual gearbox, although this now had synchromesh on all gears. Production of this the last Hawk continued until 1967.
