Built on a longer 133 inch wheelbase, the Silver Wraith Long Wheel Base became one of the largest cars on the road (excluding the inaccessible R-R Phantom IV). Mechanically the LWB cars followed the standard Silver Wraith's production developments, gaining the same 4887cc engine in 1954 as used in the Silver Cloud.
Obviously all Silver Wraith LWB cars carried coachbuilt, "special" bodies most of which were of a formal design. The Silver Wraith LWB survived until 1959 when it was replaced by the new V8 Phantom V.
