Gordon-Keeble GK1/IT

Overview

Produced: 1964-1966, 100 produced.
Types: Saloon, 2 doors, 5 seats

Following on from his previous Peerless/Warwick (see separate entries) projects John Gordon formed a partnership with Jim Keeble, together they would produce the Gordon-Keeble. The concept for the car originated from a former Peerless prototype which had used an American Corvette engine. The concept for the Gordon-Keeble was to couple a US V8 engine with a traditional British GT package...

Sadly, due to financial and supplier problems, the Gordon-Keeble was deemed live a short life. In total 99 cars were built, 80 being completed prior to the company closing in 1965, the rest were finished under a short lived period of revival between 1965-66.
