Ford V8 Pilot I purchased my Pilot in 1986 in Dallas, TX. The car was brought to the states in 1975 in its original condition. The car was a basket case and I started restoration in 1990. The engine and transmission have had complete overhauls. The odometer shows 79,000 miles and the car is a good driver. The only other Pilot in the US to my knowledge is a V8 Pilot "Woodie" in Pennsylvania. The right-hand drive took a little getting used to but it is a pleasure to drive. It gets a lot of attention on the highway and at car shows. |
