Ford Capri 2000GT

Overview
Produced: 1969-1974
Types: Coupe,2 doors,4 seats

From day one of Capri production Ford offered a comprehensive model line up that always included high-performance variants. One of the first of these performance Capri models was the 2000GT and the 2 litre model continued to be important throughout the entire lifetime of the range.

The 2000GT used the Corsair V4 engine and offered good performance from its 1996cc capacity. A whole host of extras were available including some special packs that could be added by them selves or together. A popular combination of these option packs were the XLR which consisted of = X (de-luxe interior trim), L (exterior trim upgrades) and R (matt black bonnet, Rostyle wheels and a sports steering wheel).
